Welcome to the website of my psychotherapy practice. The following privacy policy applies to the use of our website as well as the services offered on it, unless otherwise specified. This Privacy Policy informs you about the collection of personal information during your visit to this website. By using this website, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

My psychotherapy practice places great importance to data protection. Due to its legal obligations (medical confidentiality according to Art. 321 StGB, Data Protection Act and other federal and cantonal decrees), a high level of legal protection already exists. The collection and processing of your personal data is done in compliance with the applicable data protection laws and requirements.

In principle, my psychotherapy practice offers its services only in Switzerland and is directed only to persons residing in Switzerland.


Collection of general data and information

With each access to the website by a person or an automated system, a series of general data and information is collected. This general data and information are stored in the log files of the server. Information that can be recorded are: (1) browser types and versions used, (2) the operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system accesses our website (so-called referrer), (4) the sub-websites that are accessed via an accessing system on our website, (5) the date and time of an access to the website, (6) an Internet protocol address (IP address), (7) the Internet service provider of the accessing system and (8) other similar data and information that serve to avert danger in the event of attacks on our IT infrastructure.

This data and information are needed to (1) display the content of our website correctly, (2) optimize the content of our website, (3) ensure the long-term functionality of our IT infrastructure and the technology of our website, and (4) provide the necessary information to law enforcement authorities in the event of a cyberattack. Furthermore, my psychotherapy practice can evaluate this data statistically, or use it to increasing the data protection and data security of its IT infrastructure. The data and information collected this way will only be processed for the aforementioned purposes and will be

stored separately from any personal data provided by the individual.

This website may contain links to websites of other providers. My psychotherapy practice has no influence on these websites, their content, offers or availability or the data protection declarations and provisions applicable there. This website therefore disclaims any liability.


Cookies and other services

My psychotherapy practice may use cookies on its website to provide the best possible service and specific information. Cookies contain a so-called cookie ID, a unique identifier of the cookie, which assigns websites and servers to a specific Internet browser. My psychotherapy practice may use other service offers from third-party providers to integrate my content and services, such as videos or articles, into the website. A corresponding integration always requires that these third-party providers can collect and process the IP address and other information of visitors to this website.

Communication options

Due to legal regulations ("imprint obligation"), the website of my psychotherapy practice contains certain information that enables a quick electronic contact as well as direct communication, which also includes a general e-mail address. If you contact us via the communication options offered on our website, your contact details and content will only be used to process and respond to your request. I will answer personal request using a different, encoded e-mail address which is also used to transmit private information in confidential patient doctor communication (hin-mail).


Please note: Access to information and services on this website are transmitted via the Internet and are thus an open network accessible to everyone. The transmission of your data via this website or via means of communication such as e-mail, SMS or WhatsApp is generally considered to be insecure. My psychotherapy practice therefore disclaims any liability.


Your rights

You have various rights regarding your data within the framework of the Data Protection Act. In particular, you have the right to information, correction and deletion (if the data no longer needs to be kept for legal reasons). The exercise of such rights usually requires that you clearly prove your identity (e.g. by means of a copy of your ID card, where your identity is otherwise not clear or cannot be verified). To assert your rights, please contact the psychotherapy practice. We are at your disposal for further information in this regard.



My Psychotherapy Practice may amend this privacy policy at any time without notice. The current version published on my website applies. To the extent that the Privacy Policy is part of a contract with you, I will notify you of the change by email or other appropriate means in the event of an update.
